Tie Knots: A Gentleman’s Guide – No.1 The Victoria

Most guys know how to tie a tie, albeit a somewhat crappy version that they were taught in standard 6 by their gay best friend (shut up!). On that note, we have assembled a 14-part mini series on tie knots, and our hope is that you will learn something. The first tie knot is The Victoria.

No.1 The Victoria

A larger cousin of the FOUR-IN-HAND. Slightly less flamboyant than The Prince Albert. A narrow knot suited for point collars, and possibly collars with a high neck band. Also suited for older-style winged collars. Lengthens the neck. Suits ties with a soft, thin cloth.
